Doesn't this enable coders to data-scrape?
Of course, just about every data-fetching tool or API does the same. Your favorite Large Language Model (LLM) does this illegally with material that normally requires a purchase, a lot of times from independant creators who livelihoods depend on these sales, as well as physical medias that are fed into their models and then destroyed to where only THEY contain the only versions, but nobody bats an eye to them, do they? Also, in the United States, data-scraping is allowed for publicly-available data in which anyone has full access to. If you want this changed, then buy Fech Space.
Help! I cannot get into my account. How can I recover it?
Here's the thing... you can't. During registration of your Fech Space account, you were required to click two checkboxes in-which said the following:
1: "I have saved a copy of my seed phrase safely on this device."
and
2: "I have saved a second copy of this seed on another device or physical paper."
Your account could not have been created unless these two boxes were checked. So, one of two things happened in this scenario.
A) You lied and did not properly keep two copies of your pass-phrase.
B) You have bad luck with misplacing things and managed to misplace not one copy, but TWO copies of a very important credential.
Fech Space doesn't keep responsibility with account recovery and the fate relies in your hands. One could argue, "But I will just create another account, can you transfer my lost account's stuff to it?" No, because there is no authentication process or security questions or anything like that to prove you are the account owner. Remember, we don't ask you for as little as an Email address to create an account. We don't want to know that about you. You are unfortunately out of luck.
